Paul Underwood Air-conditioning Services supply and install a wide variety of heavy duty industrial air conditioning equipment in a wide range of capacities.

Equipment of this type is typically used to control both the humidity and temperature in situations where close control of those environmental factors is required for plant and/or processes.

Typical situations include rubber production plants (process chillers), water coolers, computer rooms, communications cabins etc.

A typical floor standing unit (Fig 1) comes in many capacities and several cabinet sizes and features single or three phase electrics,  electronic control,  disposable panel filter, de-ice thermostat, supply/return air grills, humidistat humidity control etc.

Figs 2, 3 & 4 below show various ‘real’ installations in progress for the Isaac Newton Group in their William Herschel 4.2m telescope on the Island of La Palma Tenerife.
